Nicoleise

Hello everyone,

It's been a while, eh? Although I'm in contact with several past SOG members regularly, in some shape or form, actually looking at this website again is a bit strange.

Anyways, it's really nice to see this place again. I do hope that everyone, who was a member back then, will atleast give a life sign to let us all know you're alive and well.

I guess I should be providing some form of update on my situation? In the later years of SOG I was much less active than normal, as I was attending a demanding education in the field of electrical engineering.

Although the education is so demanding, that it is nicknamed "the education in divorse" because many couples split up over the attendee never really being home, it was the opposite for me. I met the love of my life there, we've been together for some seven years and will be getting married in August. :)

In terms of what I do for a living, I started my own company five years ago. It's been alright - stressful at times, but also rewarding. I'm developing a few concepts and products "on the side" of running the company, and am really finding these things exciting.

In my spare time, I still do play computer games regularly. I've found that it's a great way for me to relax and reduce the stress levels a bit. I've never found a 'proper' replacement for SWAT4 though, but am anticipating Police 10-13, if it ever becomes released. Of course, I have to do other stuff as well, now that I'm supposedly an adult, but I still do find time for gaming.

Although I don't play it very often, Swat 4 is still installed, of course. ;)

I hope you're all doing well,
Nico

Not IT exactly, but it's not far from. I mostly work with Building Management Systems, which are essentially systems that control and monitor stuff like lighting, heating, cooling, ventilation, etc. to ensure that everything is kept comfortable without wasting energy. :)

I'd definitely be ready for Swat 4 COOP. :D

I could agree with you more Nico. Maybe we are a little bit old [off course Recon younger :)] but it was some sentiment to the SOG. Even when I've played for SWTOR I talking with proud about SOG and you all.

Hi Nico and congratz!

im sure you was the one that taught me how to play Arma long time ago.

Nicoleise 30-01-18 06:45 PM

Hey guys,

Really good to see so many of you again. :) Warms my novel-typing heart! :D Thank you also for the many congratulations and wishes. :)

As for Recon; you are not the first to say 'poor girl' - but fortunately, people have only said that about me taking so long to propose, and not because of her being with me. :D

If that's the case, you must be rubbish at Arma! :D That's the only thing I think I could teach anyone about Arma - never died so much in a game before or since. :D
